JBED will let you run any Java/J2ME/MIDP games or applications natively with JBed Android Java Emulator. The developer created a signed flash-able package for easy installation: just flash this package on clockworkmod recovery version 2 and up. The app was tested on a HTC Wildfire but it should be compatible with other devices as well.

BetterBatteryStats is a replacement for the missing Wakelock stats in Gingerbread. Wakelocks are an important aspect when it comes to finding rogue apps / battery drainers so I decided to replace that missing part. BetterBatteryStats is of course no battery drainer itself (remember the theory about changing the conditions when measuring?). In order to achieve that BetterBatteryStats relies on the non-public API of Android's battery service (details on this weill be made available shortly).
Even if designed to fill a blank in Gingerbread BetterBatteryStats runs under Froyo.

Custom kernel 2.6.35.9 for Boston(and variants)
As a result now Cyanogen 2.3.4-ROM is being increasingly popular, but there are problems with power consumption, this kernel came to fix the consumption issues, altought still in testing
This might not be as stable as it should...but i guess it's worth testing!
DOWNLOAD

- Add CPU freq - Smartass set as the default.
- Adjust the Max sleep mode for battery consumption stumps Gallery less
- Fix msm battery.
- Fix wifi.
How to install
1. Plug in the USB cable and then download to the SDCARD.
2. Open the terminal / command prompt (the computer company).
Write
$ Adb shell.
# Flash_image boot / mnt / sdcard / boot.img.
# Reboot.
This might not be as stable as it should...but i guess it's worth testing!

Some market themes , in case you got bored of the stock one :)
These are packed into morphs for easy installing and to theme a few images in framework-res.apk. That is why they are separated into hdpi and mdpi, the actual Vending.apk is the same in both. Tested on a D1 running CM7. The one called WallVending uses your wallpaper as the background, giving it a transparent look without getting too messy.
I only posted MDPI versions . HDPI(High DPI being used by more expensive devices).

Phantom SKY REVOLUTION V1 - recommended ROM
I post it because i think it's the best ROM available and it's a must have!
Strong points - battery life -> ~50 hours
- performance -> very good
- stabilty -> very good
The only weak point is low customability .
